A mystery which neither the Cricketing Experts nor Cricket as Science have ever been able to resolve is why can’t Pakistan win from India when it comes to World Cups. Whether it was ODI’s and now T20s; Pakistan have failed not due to lack of performance but due to their nervousness at times of the World Cup Encounters. The stage is so big that arch rivalry losses its tenacity and Pakistan faces the history to repeat itself. Taking the example from last T20 World Cup i.e. ICC T20 WC 2007; Pakistan lost a league match to India in Bowl Out and lost an almost Clincher in the Final. They lost the bowl out due to a nervous and inexperienced bowling line up and lost the finals due to just a single misjudge shot from Misbah-ul-Haq out of nervousness. Rohit Sharma smashed 80 runs of just 53 balls while Gautam Gambhir played a calm knock of 52 runs of just 47 balls to guide India to emphatic 9 wicket win over Pakistan. Chasing the target of 159 runs for victory India achieved the target in just 17 overs with the loss of only one wicket. Rohit Sharma smashed 9 fours and two huge sixes in his inning of 80 runs, he was finally dismissed in the 16th over by 17 year fast bowler Mohammad Aemer.
