Those who founded the church wanted to tell the world that it was done with the sanction of Jesus. But, Jesus never established the church in his life time. He had a band of followers. He never showed any inclination to form an organization of his own. There are more than one indicating to show that he only wanted to reform the Jewish religion. He never called himself a god. He called himself a son of God, as any devout person of any faith is most likely to say. The church established in the name of Christ which stood to gain by mystifying him is responsible for the half-truths and untruths.  more

order to establish this his holy Church everywhere in the world till the end of time, Christ entrusted to the College of the Twelve the task of teaching, ruling and sanctifying. Among their number he chose Peter . . . [and] he determined that on him he would build his Church . . . It is through the faithful preaching of the Gospel by the Apostles and their successors — the bishops with Peter's successor at their head . . . that Jesus Christ wishes his people to increase . . . it is through Christ's Catholic Church alone, which is the universal help towards salvation, that the fullness of the means of salvation can be obtained. It was to the apostolic college alone, of which Peter is the head, that we believe that Our Lord entrusted all the blessings of the New Covenant in order to establish on earth the one Body of Christ . . .  more

Jesus Christ established no church. His mission was to inform the world of the wonder and powers of God and then (according to Christianity) sacrifice his own life to provide a end to sin for all humanity. No where in the Bible does it mention that Jesus directed men to create a Church or to elect an official to be the speaker of God (i.e. the Pope). Jesus fulfilled his purpose, and his purpose was not to create subdivisions of faith, but to unite all in the search for salvation.  more

*** w93 7/1 pp. 10-11 How Christendom Became a Part of This World *** HOW “CHRISTIANITY” BECAME A STATE RELIGION CHRISTIANITY was never meant to be a part of this world. (Matthew 24:3, 9; John 17:16) Yet, history books tell us that in the fourth century C.E., “Christianity” became the official State religion of the Roman Empire. How did this come about? From Nero (54-68 C.E.) well into the third century C.E., all Roman emperors either actively persecuted Christians or permitted the persecution of them. Gallienus (253-268 C.E.) was the first Roman emperor to issue a declaration of tolerance for them. Even then, Christianity was a proscribed religion throughout the empire. After Gallienus, the persecution continued, and under Diocletian (284-305 C.E.) and his immediate successors, it even intensified. The turning point came early in the fourth century with the so-called conversion to Christianity of Emperor Constantine I.  more

Jesus started a small group or "school" within Judaism. Originally the group of 12 disciples were the pillars of this Jewish "school", but numbers grew. Later in the book of Acts we are told that the Holy Spirit came upon a group of over 120 people. This was the amount needed within the Jewish faith , to form a separate subdivision within the Jewish faith. So for the first 40 or so years, the Christians were just another of the many subdivisions of Judaism. After 70 AD when Jerusalem was destroyed, the Christian sub set was excommunicated from Judaism and went their own way. At that time they were a catholic Church only in as much as the word catholic, means Universal. As such they were the catholic/universal/ world wide Church.  more

No He did not. The Catholics believe that Jesus built His church upon Peter but He didn't. Jesus built His church upon the statement that Peter made. Peter said that He is Christ, the Son of the living God and on that statement Jesus will build His church not upon Peter. Christ is the Son of God, what better foundation to build His church. Matthew 16:18 "I also say to you that you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build My church; and the gates of Hades will not overpower it. In that verse the name Peter in Greek is "petros" and it means a piece of rock. Now when Jesus said--and upon this rock I will build my church. Now the word rock that Jesus used there is the Greek word " petra" which is the feminine of the name and it means a mass of rock. Do you see the difference? Peter is a piece of rock and the rock Jesus referred to is a mass of rock. Jesus is the foundation of the church, the Chief Cornerstone. Jesus would never build His spiritual and physical church on a man.  more

What college of twelve?

Jesus told Judas, "to leave" before he had his last supper with the other disciples.

To those who read the Bible and understand it, know that in the "full context" of that moment, Jesus asked a question to his disciples. He said to them: "Who are men saying the Son of man is?" They responded: "Some say John the Baptist, others Elijah, still others Jeremiah or one of the prophets."

He then said and asked to them: "You, Though, who do you say I am?" In answer only Simon Peter responded: "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God." In response Jesus said to him: "Happy you are, Simon son of Jonah, because flesh and blood did not reveal [it] to you, but my Father who is in  the heavens did. Also I say to you, 'You are Peter,' and on this rock-mass I will build my congregation, and the gates of Hades will not overpower it. I will give you "the keys" of the kingdom of the heavens, and whatever you may bind on earth will be the thing bound on the heavens, and whatever you may loose on earth will be the thing loosed in the heavens."

Then he sternly charged the disciples not to say to anybody that he was the Christ. From that time forward Jesus Christ commenced showing his disciples that he must go to Jerusalem and suffer many things from the older men and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and on the third day be raised up.

At this Peter took him aside and commenced rebuking him, saying: "Be kind to yourself, Lord; you will not have this [destiny] at all." But turning his back he said to Peter: "Get behind me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to me, because you think, not God's thoughts, but those of men."

This statement given from Christ to the "one" that supposedly the Catholic Church says is built upon. But all Jesus wanted to know from his disciples was: 'Who do you think that I am?' He then confirmed, as he had Peter confirm that he was the Christ, the Son of God. Following this thought Christ then confirmed to Peter, that he was Peter. And following Peter's response, Christ added: that "He was the mass of rock," to which He would build his "congregation" not Church! Even more so Christ said that he would give "the keys," to use, not be the key as the Church teachs.

The Catholic Church from it's mear beginings has completely ignored the clear teachings of Jesus Christ. Emplementing their own ideas and interpretations at their convenience. Do their actions today demonstrate at all that they follow his teachings, No. Honestly, do they?

They completely ignore the Bible, in fact they don't even bother to read it. They have made simple teachings of the Son of God, an unexplainable mystery that cannot be questioned or considered. And if you dare you will go to Hell. What Hell? The Hell created by Dante and all of those false NeoPlato teachings'? Because the Church is "good" at adapting flawed pagan human ideas and traditions and converting them into mystical Christian rituals.

Proof of this, is the false and confusing Trinity, their false-Idol worship, a supposed appointed Pope and all his' elected buddies 'the Cardinals,' being politically involved, having a celibate that causes more sexually abused victims than good, they have promoted and caused wars, not to forget the millions of people slained over the course of human history in the name of "this" Church. But even more responsible are they: of the millions upon millions of spiritual deaths around the world of their' own followers and those who came out of her false teachings. Why?

Do the people even know the true name of God? Something so simple, and yet they lack the basic knowledge. None of them even bother to see that the only True God that Abraham, Moises, Noah etc.. all worshipped in the past is named: Jehovah (YHWH.) Instead, they voided His Holy name, and in it's place put: Eloim, Adoni, God, Lord etc...)  Now what do we have, a false Trinity established in the 300's in the Council of Nicea by King Constatine imposing his own will. Why didn't it exist and was taught before this? Where in the Bible is it so much mentioned? Is it even considered as such? Why is this so? If we find that Jesus was a good teacher, no a great teacher! That used simple illustrations to explain his message, why is the message given by the Church cloudy and filled with mystery?

Even more so, I find it so incredible that in the past people fought and died to find the "true knowledge" that was hidden by this same Church to the common people. Read any history book, this a fact that the Church cannot deny. Because the same Church would not allow, aided against, prosecuted and prohibited the translation of the Bible. And it is because of men like, Willian Tynsdale who sacrificed their lives, so that we may have the Bible in our hands today. And now-a-days, with the advancement of technology, it is as simple as a click away on a computer, or a visit to a library to brush up on "old history" to find out the "true origins" of the Church and all of it's selfish political motives.

Jesus was sent to Earth as a messenger by His Father Jehovah. God's original purpose for man was to live forever in Paradise here on Earth like we read in the beginning of Genesis. When Adam and Eve sinned in the garden of Eden, we all inherited his sin and because of this we die. Additionally, the Devil, Satan questioned: God's right to govern over His' creation and rebelled against Him. Staining God's name and Sovereignty. In this act of rebellion he took along with him many of the angels and even God's perfect creation: Man.

This is why most people don't even know the name of God. What's in a name you may ask? Everything! Because God's honorable Sovereignty was being question before all of His' creation. Jehovah allowed this because he is a merciful God, and in doing so did not simply destroy man and the rebellious angels. But He has reserved His' day in which He will call to account all those who are against Him and dishonor His' Holy name.

Jehovah's original purpose was not for man to suffer and die, so He layed out a way for Him to pardon man's sin and restore man's condition and favor before Him once again. In the beginning He began with His chosen nation: the Jews; but when they betrayed and killed His own Son, they lost His favor and protection. Jesus being the only sacrifice that Jehovah would recognize sacrificed his life in our favor.

And during Jesus' time on Earth, preached the message of the good news that he was given by His Father. Christ taught his disciples to teach and to make disciples. Something that Christ said: 'Only his true disciples would do, and by doing so they would teach other's that the name of His heavenly Father is, Jehovah God. To whom we should "all" give our praise to. Because He is the Creator of all things, and deserves all of the honor for creating them.'

In the end, through Christs' Kingdom the Devil and his' rebellious angels will be destroyed. Along with them all unworthy people and even Death and man's imperfection will be erased. The surviving humanity: will once again return to its original place before Jehovah God. His' Son, Jesus Christ will reign, with those (144,000) adopted from the Earth and given to him by Jehovah. To reign with Christ in favor of humanity for the 1,000 year period in Heaven. At the end of Christ's reign he will turn over his Kingdom and subject himself to His Father along with all of Jehovah's creation.

Humanity will once again live forever here on Earth, free from sickness, death and in peace! All of Jehovah's creation will know His' name, and will worship the True Almighty God, Jehovah. As our Magnificent Father Jehovah wanted and rightly deserves.

This is the "Truth" about Christs' message, and the reason why he sacrificed so much for us!

Now, will you stand before the Devil and prove that he is a liar! That we don't worship Jehovah God because of all of the good things that He has given us. Like the Devil accused the loyal Job before an audience of angels. And unlike our first father Adam, we as "imperfect beings" with liberal choice to choose, decided to defend Jehovah's honor because He is the Almighty Creator, and we recognize His love to us. And we know that because of Him, we exist and enjoy of His magnificient creations here on Earth.

Alot of people say, "Gosh, if only the righteous lived forever in a world full of peace and love, it would be the ideal place." Well this is exactly Jehovah God's intention, and someday soon it will not be a mear hope for man, but a definite reality.
