Did molly pitcher have any schooling?
I can not find any documentation that Molly Picture had any formal education or even actually existed. She may be the embodiment of the Patriot woman standing beside her husband to defend liberty. In general in the 18th century, many women of common class were not educated except for home and domestics. For learning numbers and the ABC’s young girls would sew samplers.
