Let’s look at the passage concerning the original vegetable diet: “….I have given every green herb for food, and it was so.” Genesis 1:30 Now “every green herb” above doesn’t mean “every single existing green herb.” It means “every green herb that is appropriate for food.” Clearly neither Adam or Noah were eating poison ivy salads or snacking on poisonous berries!
