Honduras interim govt proposes new leader: report (AFP) – Aug 29, 2009 TEGUCIGALPA — Honduras’ interim leader Roberto Micheletti has proposed that a third leader take over in a bid to solve the crisis that has crippled the country since a coup two months ago, local media reported. The solution suggested by Michelleti, whose de facto government is not recognized by the international community since the June ouster of President Manuel Zelaya, said Zelaya should return to the country next year to face a trial for constitutional crimes, said Radio America here.
