Did the recent California prison riot show that maybe desegregation is not wanted by criminals?
The 40 year plus liberal U.S. prison reform system needs a MAJOR REFORM itself—THAT’s what THIS prison riot proved and did so resonantly clear; there should be NO room for “political correctness” within the prison system. Suggestions for NEW U.S. Prison reform ( state and Federal levels): 1)Clean clothing. 2)Clean housing. 3)State / Federal paid medical care–UP TO A POINT, then billed to the inmates family. Simply put–no pay / no play. This factor alone is a epic waste and budget cost issue that cross-bears all states. 4) Adequate meals meeting state / Federal prison nutrition standards. 5) Inmate violence towards corrections staff be met with equal violence–as long as NO PERMANENT INJURY is cast upon the violent inmate. I really don’t have a problem with inmates getting “tipped” when they act out attempts to physically harm corrections staff and civilian prison workers.
