Did TNT help victims of the Nargis cyclone in Myanmar?
TNT provided support, both independently and as member of joint Logistics Emergency Teams. For instance, TNT worked with the Royal Thai Army to deliver food and drinking water to Myanmar. At the end of May 2008, a convoy of 22 TNT trucks drove to the Thai-Myanmar border, carrying 260,000 liters of water, 12 tons of rice, 25 tons of eggs, biscuits, flashlights, fish cans, instant noodles, clothes, and flour, adding up to a total of 150 metric tons. TNT unloaded the trucks at the border and handed over the goods to the authorities of Myanmar.
