Kulayigye: UPDF never intended to kill people but where cases happened like in Namukora and Bur Coro – when 35th Battalion made of soldiers, formerly under Uganda Freedom Movement (UFM) retaliated after UPDA attacked them, the commander was not only punished, but the whole battalion was disbanded. Those making allegations are trying to tarnish the name of the government and the President because elections are coming closer.
