Did you notice how different Fanta Orange is around the world?

It is the same with a lot of products. The name may be the same the world over, but the recipe may be different. This is just down to the tastes of the particular country. Fanta lemon in Spain is the same – delicious, but the lemon Fanta in the UK is nowhere near as nice. I’ve seen a Fanta orange from South Africa – looks much more orange than UK version and I’ve been told far nicer taste. Never got a chance to try it, though. Same with coffee – one example is Nescafe. If you buy a jar of Nescafe from a pound shop, or semi chem or the like, chances are it will be the Brazilian version. It is completely different taste to the UK one (and is also far cheaper!). I prefer it. The Spanish Nescafe is different again – I like that one the best of all. The list is endless – chocolate bars, crisps, ice cream to name a few. It just depends on each country. Nine times out of 10 the UK versions are actually worse!
