Do any xenon compounds have any important technological or medical use?

There aren’t many xenon compounds because xenon is an inert gas. Also, the few compounds that exist have only been invented recently, plus they’re very hard to make, plus xenon is expensive to begin with. So I don’t think xenon compounds are used much. One I know of is xenon chloride, which is used to make excimer lasers to perform medical operations, mainly in dermatology. However, xenon gas itself has plenty of important uses! It is used for high-powered lighting, lamps, and lasers (including the kind they use to generate light to etch semiconductors), as well as plasma TVs. It is also a medical anesthetic and can be used for medical magnetic resonance imaging too. Finally, it is one of the best possible propellants for ion engines for advanced spacecraft. Several space probes have used ion engines with xenon.
