Do baby boys or baby girls have longer gestation periods?
No baby boys do not have a longer gestation period then baby girls, all babies have the same gestation time (about 40 weeks). Course some babies are born earlier or later then that, but it has nothing at all to do with gender, it hasta do with some women going into preterm labor or not going into labor on there own. Baby girls have just as likely of a chance of being born at 30 weeks, 35 weeks, 40 weeks or whenever as baby boys do, gender has nothing to do with when a baby is born.
