Do belly button piercings hurt?

No….and probably not. I have 3 current piercings (monroe, tragus, belly button) and had two snake bites (each side of my lower lip) took those two out (snake bites) and they scars are barely visible. no it does not hurt. I have to say the only thing painful out of: 4 tattoos (2 behind my ears on my head, upper back/shoulders, and stomach ribs), 3 current piercings (Monroe, tragus, belly button) and 2 retired piercings (Snake bites) the only ones that hurt were my 0 to 00g stretching of the 3rd holes in my ears (they got infected), and the stretching of my monroe (Jewelry for it was supposed to be 16g from Hot Topic…turns out it was 18g. Had to get it stretched up two sizes to wear my original jewlerly) everyones perception of pain is different (I cry when I get vaccinations but tattoos/piercings…they are all painless. Just suck it up find a clean shop that uses needles not guns and doesn’t re-use needles eat a quick lunch, bring some apple juice for dizzyness and get it done. Don

No way, it doesn’t hurt at all they spray something on your belly button that freezes it so you don’t feel the pain, after wards it can get a bit sore but as long as you clean it twice a day with warm salty water or surgical spirit then you’ll be fine, also don’t change it until the 6 months is up otherwise there’s a higher risk of infection. remember that it takes a full year to completely heal inside and out.

they don’t really hurt that bad, i got mine pierced when i was 13 and my mom got it done with me she still has hers but unfortunetly I don’t have mine… To avoid infection just clean it 2 to 3 times a day and don’t touch it! I know you will want to play with it and stuff but that’s how mine got messed up. I changed the ring a lot and touched it and stuff and infection would come and go, eventually the middle skin got thinner and thinner and broke and my bellybutton ring fell right out and now I have a nasty scar.

Mine didn’t hurt AT ALL! I really didn’t feel a thing, it felt like a poke and it was over! If any thing the only bit that was the tiniest bit painful was when the piercer put the bar threw! I’ve had mine for a couple of months now, and to be honest, im surprised its not infected, cause I always play with mine, but I usally make sure I wash my hands before hand. But mine hasn’t been infected. I havnt taken mine out though. So i don’t know if it leaves a scar, I hope not, my mum had hers done and she dosnt have scaring, but you know, everybody is different, you might find your body rejects the piercing, or yours might be very sucsessful.
