Do black people ever get jobs working in pubs in London?
Ridiculous question, of course they can no one can refuse to employ you on the grounds of colour why should they, all colours use pubs all colours can serve in pubs, anage pubs, the law wouldn’t allow it any other way, you shouldn’t be treated any differently from anyone else serving behind a bar, though thats not always good, equally i have seen coloured bar staff with a bad attitude but no more than i’ve seen white people. people will behave politely or rudely from both sides of the bar according to both the way they normally behave and reaction to how they are treated. if everyone took the time and trouble to remember their pleases and thankyou’s put their mobiles down and remember the person serving them is human, talking on your phone whilst being served is like saying this person serving you is totally insignificant and there for your convenience. if we all remembered our manners and were respectful to each other the world would be a better place.
