Do booster seats need to be tethered?

0

Most booster seats don’t need to be tethered. A tether strap is a belt that comes from the back of a booster seat and attaches to a bolt installed in the frame of the car. The tether strap limits how far forward the booster seat will move in a crash or sudden stop. Please read your booster seat instructions to find out if you need to have your booster tethered.
