Yes, it's found in eukaryotic cells. Chromatin is the name for the DNA plus all the other stuff that goes with it to give it shape and maintain it and whatnot. I guess it's like referring to a car as a car, where as talking about DNA is like talking about a combustion engine with a drive train.
