Do both plants and animal cells have chromatin?

Yes, it's found in eukaryotic cells. Chromatin is the name for the DNA plus all the other stuff that goes with it to give it shape and maintain it and whatnot. I guess it's like referring to a car as a car, where as talking about DNA is like talking about a combustion engine with a drive train.  more
