Do candidates rent or purchase masters attire?
August/December, 2010 Graduates and May, 2011 candidates may now preorder their master’s gowns and hoods, but it must be done no later than Friday, March 11, 2011. Master’s gowns and hoods can be picked up beginning Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at the Bookstore, once you have obtained your confirmation number from my.newpaltz. edu. For sample location and directions, please click here. Additionally, please bring you New Paltz ID for Master’s attire pick up. Master’s gowns and hoods must be purchased; there is no option for renting your attire. The Campus Bookstore will be selling master’s gowns and hoods for those who do not preorder. What should I wear with my cap and gown? Commencement is a formal ceremony; please dress accordingly.
