Ah yes, the classic case of people-pleasing and telling people what they want to hear. At some point, almost everyone does this, because it’s natural to feel apathy and not want to hurt others feelings, no matter how much you may suffer in return. She needs to grow up and face you and tell you straight up, rather then blabbing her true feelings to everyone but you. And if she can’t do that with you now, she’s never going to do that ever. Relationships thrive better with communication and trust, and if she’s not willing to offer up either, you should break up and find someone who will communicate and be honest with you.
