Do clown fish have teeth?
Most fish have teeth. Clown fish have small flattened teeth on the jawline that are used for capturing prey. Their food then goes past the tongue where there is another set of teeth that are used for crushing and cutting the prey. This set is mounted on the same bones that support the gills. This is just one of many arrangements for teeth found in fish. There is rarely one one row of teeth. Some other types of fish have gripping spines on the tongue, similar to what a cat has.
