It’s unethical to prescribe a placebo in place of a marketed pharmaceutical; few doctors would risk their medical license for this sake. So, no. But if you were part of a clinical trial this would be a different issue as you consent to the possibility of receiving a placebo. That, and I’ve never dispensed nor been asked to dispense a placebo by the garden variety doctor.
