Organic Volatile Impurities (OVI) are specified requirements for some USP/NF products. They are not part of the sales specification for Dow Amines products, which are products not certified to meet USP, NF or FDA requirements. Therefore, a statement of compliance does not appear on the Certificate of Analysis for this product. Our knowledge of the manufacturing process and controlled handling, shipping, and storage of these products ensures that, barring unforeseen circumstances, there is no significant potential for detectable levels of OVI compounds (USP 467) to be present. This information applies only to products purchased directly from Dow or in Dow factory-packed containers.
