Do English primary schools in Wales teach Welsh to the children?
There are around 450 – 500 Primary schools in Wales where welsh is the language of the school and English is taught only as a Subject these are most common in, Carmarthenshire, Gwynedd, Ceredigion, Northern Pembroke, Northern Swansea/Western Neath and Portalbot, Western and Northern Powys, Anglesey and Western Clwyd. You also get Welsh medium schools in most big towns in Wales. Mae rhaid i bob ysgol yng Nghymru dysgu Cymraeg fel iaith gyntaf neu ailiaith mae’n rhan o’r cwricilwm Every school in Wales must teach Welsh as a first or a Second language it’s a part of the mandatory curiculim Welsh is treated like English, Maths and Science a core subject Mae’n bwnc craidd yng Nghymru. Mae Twf yn addysg Cymraeg yng Nghymru yn cyflymu gyda ysgolion Cymraeg yn agor yn fisol a nifer fawr o ysgolion Saesneg ei hiaith yn hanner llawn ac yn wynebu cael ei cau o achos prinder plant i addysgu.
