Do ESE students have a choice in selecting from the MAIs available for all students or do they have to participate in the ESE MAIs?

All ESE students should be given the opportunity to the greatest extent possible, with appropriate accommodations and support, to participate in MAIs designated for all students. Students should not be placed in an ESE MAI simply because they may be working on the Sunshine State Standards for special diploma.
