Do Fender Guitar strings break easily?

Thirst things thirst! or 1st strings 1st.Any new guitar, put new strings on.They’re probably the same strings which were put on in the factory, and are well past their sell by date.[sound dull, won’t tune properly] Are Fender strings worth the extra cost?Mmm.That’s all down to the individual.Personally,I reckon Ernie Ball,D’Addario or Rotosounds [all around £5 a pack] are perfectly OK.If you’re used to an acoustic,it may be worth trying a heavier guage at first,[48-11s],and maybe a softer plec, until your playing style adjusts. An old friend was in the same situ until he could practice with some db’s [thro cans].He just naturally stopped hammering the strings so hard.Anyway, best of luck.
