Yes. The antimicrobial activity of Flaminal® Hydro/Forte is based on enzymes. This is a different mechanism to that used by antibiotics and, as a consequence, there is no resistance. Methicilline-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) will be absorbed in the Alginogel® structure of Flaminal® Hydro/Forte and will then be destroyed by the enzymes contained in Flaminal® Hydro and Forte.
