Do Food Manufacturers Design Food to Reinforce Unhealthy Eating Habits?
We’ve all eaten fast food at one point or another. But have you ever felt empty after eating it? That’s because the food manufacturing process is designed to reinforce food addiction. This makes you hungrier and makes you buy more food, thereby adding more money to the pockets of the companies that produce said food. All fast food and some of the food you buy from the store is engineered. Nothing’s homemade and certainly not prepared with your best interests in mind. Take fast food for example. It’s designed to taste good, not provide nutrition (even the salads aren’t that healthy). The companies that distribute fast food make it as appealing to people as possible, but what most people do not realize is most fast food is mainly filler. Filler consists of additives and artificial preservatives. Our bodies were not designed to process these things as they are man made.
