Do ghosts actually exist? If so, what could the science be behind the phenomena?

I don’t believe in ghosts, but just for fun I’ll take a shot at a possible scientific explanation. Our entire conscienceness could be modeled as a wave, quantified using Schrodinger’s wave equation. Using this system everybody would always have a unique equation, and that equation would change with every planck second. Death would collapse the wavefront, stopping further propagation of the wave. However, interactions between subatomic particles is possible, and resonance is a very well detailed scientific phenomena. It would be possible, while still alive, to leave a “fingerprint” on the wave patterns of your surroundings that resonated to the emotions, indeed to the very life, of a particular person. This resonance could then be transmitted and felt by someone who was in tune to that particular resonance frequency. Ghosts in this case would not be sentient or semi-sentient entities, but would rather be a simple interference pattern felt at the most basic level of space-time. And we wo
