Do Girl Scout Daisies participate in the Girl Scout Cookie Program?
Its official Girl Scout Daisies may participate in the Girl Scout Cookie Program beginning with the 2009 cookie sale. Girls in grades K-1 will be able to participate in the program with new age appropriate materials made just for them. Per Girl Scouts of the USA (GSUSA), it is recommended that any product sale involvement for Girl Scout Daisies be focused on friends (including neighbors) and family. They may not, however, participate in additional non-council sponsored money earning activities, as per Safety-Wise Standard 28. Important note: Girl Scout Daisies will not be allowed to have their own booth sale, but may participate by partnering with older troops in their area.
