Do Hair Straighteners damage hair?
They only damage your hair if you don’t do the proper prep before using them. Make sure your hair is completely dry before straightening, and use a thermal protection product before any heat comes in contact with your hair (this means hair dryers too). You can buy a thermal protecting spray at any big stores like Walmart or Target for a couple of dollars. They work on all types of hair and all lengths. Make sure you don’t leave the plates on the hair too long, just a quick clean swipe, or else it can fry your hair. Hope this helps!
