Do I have to be a scientist in order to volunteer at the Da Vinci Science Center?
You absolutely do not need to be a scientist in order to volunteer at our Center. Throughout the Center’s history, many of its volunteers have not been scientists. Volunteers’ backgrounds are as diverse as the Center’s programs and exhibits. Their ages range from 14 to 85. They are evolutionists and church ministers. They are Ph.D.’s and middle-school graduates. They are mothers, fathers, grandparents, and great grandmothers. Regardless of their differences, Da Vinci Science Center volunteers do share crucial characteristics. They have the desire to be at the Center. They have a desire to make every visitor feel at home. Most of all, they have a desire to make people want to come back and visit again.
