Do I have to change any iTunes, iPhoto, Winamp or Windows Media settings?

No. By default, the option to look for shared media is enabled already in iTunes and iPhoto. Winamp works in a similar way provided you install Simplify Media after Winamp. You can also run Simplify Media’s Install Winamp Plugin script after Winamp installation. To use Windows Media as a player, you must use WMP 11 on Vista. Note: If you do not see a Share section in iTunes or iPhoto, please check the program Preferences to make sure that “Look for shared libraries” is checked. If you install Winamp after Simplify Media, select the Install Winamp Plugin option under Simplify Media in your Start Menu to setup Winamp. Finally, if you use WMP 11 on Vista and don’t see remote libraries, check WMP Options under Library > Configuring Sharing to confirm that “Find media that others are sharing” is selected.
