Generally you need to complete the Research Application Project Tool (RPAT) for every research application or contracted research project. However, if the application is to for the Australian Research Council (ARC) or the National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) and Curtin is to be the administering institution, then it is not necessary to submit an RPAT.
