Do I have to completely discharge a Ni-Mh battery before recharging?
No. You just recharge them on any charged status, they will not create the memory effect that Ni-Cd batteries experience. However if you are using a constant current charger is important to assess a point where you need to take off your battery from the charger , otherwise, in time, lesions to the battery may occur reducing their number of life cycles.
