The previous responders have provided some acceptable answers but have neglected to mention something that will cost you nothing to file your state taxes. The majority of states that collect payroll taxes also have their own “e-file” program and is probably a no cost to you service. If you have received a tax form package from your state in the mail, then the web address will be in the included info. If not, then use the web to locate your states tax info. For starters, search for “your state name.gov” (virginia.gov). You should be able to locate the info or get a reference to your states e-file program.
