Look at the motherboard in the computer and see if you can see a model number and then google it. This might find you a driver for the sound card. If you download the driver and it doesn’t work or you are unable to find such, it might be time to buy another sound card. If you are comfortable and have a pci slot open (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PCI_slot) you can go to tigerdirect or any other computer store and buy one and install it. If you aren’t and you don’t have anyone who can install it for you then a USB sound card might be a better way to go.
