This site mentions having an out of state DL. <a href="http://www.testquestionsandanswers.com/motorcycle-license/texas.html" rel="nofollow">http://www.testquestionsandanswers.com/m...</a> I'd just call DPS and ask, though.

In most places a motorcycle permit is an endorsement added to the standard license. So usually you do.

Yes you can get a Texas Driver's and Motorcycle license. If you get a Texas license you may have to forfeit your other state. You can now only hold one state, unless you prove you hold realstate in more than one state. The way FL works is if you need a FL license and want to keep the other state's, the FL one says, "GOOD ONLY IN THE STATE OF FLORIDA". Texas may or may not do the same. If you do have to forfiet your other state, simply transfer the Texas one back to your home state when you return home. Or go home and add the motorcycle to your original. Hope this helps you out. Since you don't have to have an automobile license to obtain a motorcycle license in Texas you should be able to do that.
