Do I need an IR emitter for XpanD X102 DLP Link Glasses?
No. Additionally, you should not use the XpanD X102 glasses with any IR Emitter connected. XpanD DLP Link glasses syncronize directly with 3D DLP product and DO NOT require an IR emitter. There is a common misconception and even if you hear from DLP TV manufacturers that you need an emitter for DLP Link glasses, please ignore it. Please note that DLP Link Glasses work only with DLP 3D Ready TVs, or Projectors. For the current LCD, LED and Plasma 3D TVs please look for XpanD X103 Universal 3D TV Glasses that use an IR Emitter.
