Do I need to lift carpets, floor boards, roof panels etc. in preparation for the Energy Performance Assessment?
No. The assessment is non evasive and the Domestic Energy Assessor will make all reasonable efforts to visually inspect each of the required areas of the property without disruption of any floor covering, etc. Where this is not physically possible or safe to do so, predicted or assumed data will be used by the software system.
