Yes you should pay tax, but this is a very cash oriented society, so you may well be paid in cash without it going through the books. BIG problems if they catch up with you. Your earnings are also subject to UK tax, but you can deduct what you have paid in Greece. Tax evasion is the national sport out there!  more

yes your boss is supposed to pay ika which includes your tax and insurance bla bla bla. but 9 out 10 do not pay these fees. which is why when the police come round you have to hide. but it not you that if you are found will have to pay the fines for not have ika it is your boss. and this year is going to be very hard year, so come with money in your hand that you do not touch for anything for a flight our or apartment fees if something goes wrong. you could find it hard to get and job and stick it because of he low tourism or you get a lovely job and they dont hand over the money , you have earned because there making nothing. i will get them numbers for you before march.  more
