Do incoming freshmen get to pick their own residence halls rooms?
Yes, incoming freshmen who return their contract and deposit by the preferred deadlines will select their own rooms online, as space permits. Students who take part in the Arts and Sciences Capstone Living-Learning Community in Harris Hall, and the C&IS Community, the Nursing Community, and the HES Community in Harris Hall, will be assigned by Housing and Residential Communities. Students in the WILL Program will also receive their housing assignment from HRC. Students who apply for housing after the room selection process has ended will be assigned by HRC, as space permits.
