In a small percentage of dogs, the following adverse reactions have been reported following the use of INTERCEPTOR® (milbemycin oxime) Flavor Tabs®: depression/lethargy, vomiting, ataxia, anorexia, diarrhea, convulsions, weakness and hypersalivation. The number of reported reactions is very small in relation to the number of animals receiving treatment with INTERCEPTOR Flavor Tabs. As with other heartworm preventives, dogs must be tested for heartworm prior to using INTERCEPTOR Flavor Tabs. In a small percentage of treated dogs, digestive and neurologic effects may occur.
