Do interns receive academic credit for the Summer Internship Program?
Yes. Interns receive 3.0 hours of graded academic credit for the Summer Internship Program during the fall semester. To earn academic credit for the internship, interns must maintain frequent contact with their faculty advisor, complete assigned readings, and submit a final paper. Each intern’s course requirements are determined on an individual basis by the intern and faculty advisor.
