Do JROTC ranks carry over?

No, while JROTC teaches basic leadership it is nothing compared to the actual training leaders get in the real army (OCS, WLC, etc.). From my experience, you can make LTC in JROTC by your senior year, how fair would it be if someone fresh out of high school was able to transfer that rank to the regular Army with the real ones taking up to 20 years to get that rank, not counting ROTC/West Point/OCS? The most you can get if I’m not mistaken is PFC if you do three or four years. If you do one year you get E-2.
