Do leopard geckos eat as much when they are ready to shed?

A lot of geckos will eat less, or stop eating all together a day before they shed, and usually a day after. Some geckos on the other hand will continue to eat. All 7 of mine will eat during their shed and would rather have a tasty superworm then eat their own skin it seems. I wouldn’t worry if they aren’t eating much, or even at all right around the time they are shedding. This is pretty normal for your typical gecko.
