Yes. Most chiropractors have excellent relationships with medical physicians and cross refer patients on a routine basis. At the Momentum Healing Arts Centre, we enjoy a solid referral system with physiotherapists, physicians and specialists in order to serve the best interests of patients. There will always be a few medical physicians who do not refer to chiropractors. However, these are becoming fewer with the increased cooperation between the professions in world class sports events, amateur events and even in hospital settings. Canadian chiropractors have had a significant presence as part of the health care team for Canada's athletes at the 2002 Olympic Games, as well as previous Olympics and Pan Am games.
