Do medical schools look down on Psychology degrees?

Your bigger problem may be passing the medical school interview. Medical schools admit psychology majors, many of whom hope to become psychiatrists. You will need a a prompt and coherent answer if you are asked, for example, why you want an M.D. degree, rather than a Ph.D. is psychology. I also hope that you have virtually straight A grades in the pre-med classes and in psychology. Communications and sociology are often considered easier majors than psychology. If your university has one of the top psychology programs in the nation, your major will probably not be considered against you.
