Do most dvd burners also burn cds?
Yes, I have yet to run across a DVD burner that doesn’t also support burning to CD’s. The balance of your question isn’t real clear, but I think this answers what your asking: The “+” and “-” normally refers to the flavor of DVD supported (so DVD+R and DVD-R in the record-once flavor of DVD). Some burners only support DVD-R or DVD+R, although that’s less common today. The “RW” mean rewritable. So DVD-RW or DVD+RW would be supported (as well as rewritable CD’s). Rewritable DVD’s are those that you initialize and then can record to and erase from. All DVD’s players will play commercial DVD’s and CD’s. Hope that helps!
