Do ninjas still exist?
Maxim does not consult an expert for an answer, but still seems to take the question seriously. Ninjas do not still exist, if you’re curious. That guy on the web must not be an actual ninja. They never did. In feudal Japan, the hierarchy of the military was the foundation for the entire social system. The Samurai worked directory for land owners (or warlords) that would go to war with one another over, what else, land. As with any social system, there is corruption. There were some warlords that would have some of their Samurai (trained in ninjitsu) to attack opposing warlords before the battle could ensue.. almost like hit men or mercenaries. Even when these things were happening people would never admit to it… obviously it is a super honorable thing to do. When that system of government collapsed so did the need for samurai and thus… no ninjas.
