Do over-the-counter teeth whiteners work?
Some of the over-the-counter whiteners work well depending on how well the patients learn to apply them. They tend to take longer to achieve the same results that in-office bleaching does. The biggest complication with any bleaching product is post operative sensitivity. Normally you get the best results from in-office bleaching or custom bleaching trays.
