Do people feel embarrassed talking about sexual sins during confession?
Your not supposed to go into detail about your sins when confessing. Simply state the sin, the number of times and continue with the Confession. Ex. I committed an impure act with myself x- times. I consented to impure thoughts x- times. I committed adultery with a man that was married once etc.. Priests aren’t there to be judgmental about you they are there to show you God’s mercy and give you absolution for your sins. If you have confessed all sins of serious matter honestly, been given absolution, and have a desire to change your life for the better, you can be assured your sins are forgiven.
