Okay, background info first: The little one who just turned 10 a few weeks ago got a CD player for her birthday. She also got several CDs with music from “artists” like Hannah Montana, Jonas Brothers, Taylor Swift. She’s also a kid who likes music from the 80s, lol. Well it’s summertime and I gave her permission to hook up her CD player and set it on the porch to play music. I wanted them to still be outside, riding bikes, running around, playing….you know, getting exercise and doing summery kid things? Music has to be kept at a fairly low/decent level because of neighbors and she/her friends have been pretty good about paying attention to that. Current happenings of this morning: One of her friends brought over her mp3 player and cord to hook up to the CD player. I thought that was pretty cool because they’d be able to listen to different songs. I’m certainly sick of hearing the same songs over and over and over again, lol.
